【概要】
プロ格闘ゲーマーのカナミと、カズヤは対戦する事になった。
ゲーマー女子に負けるはずはないと、高を括るカズヤだったが、格闘ゲームのキャラクターの動きを
完全にトレースするカナミの猛攻に苦戦する。
カズヤの思うように戦いを進められない中、カズヤはカナミの作った”ゲーム空間”に捕らわれてしまう。
果たしてカズヤは、ゲーム空間から逃れ、勝利を手にする事は出来るのか・・・
【登場人物】
カズヤ:
北辰流古武術の使い手。Beat!の存在を知り、自身の修行のため登録を決意した。
カナミ:
プロの格闘ゲーマー。
自分が見た動きや技を、完全にトレース出来るほどの運動神経を持っている。
格闘ゲームのキャラクターの技をコピーした戦闘スタイルで、打撃・投げ・絞めとオールラウンドにこなす。
カナミのヘッドホンは特殊な催眠音波を発する事が可能で、自身の運動能力を高めたり、相手を催眠状態にする事も出来、相手の意識がない時に、相手をゲーム空間に閉じ込め、精神的に相手を追い詰めることを得意としている。
いくつかの特殊な音波があり、その音波ごとで生成される”ゲーム空間”が変わる。
しかし、どの種類の音波であっても、必ずカナミが勝つようプログラムされている。
【用語解説】
Beat!:
格闘家同士を引き合わせるマッチングサイト。
男性格闘家は高額な登録料が掛かるが、女性格闘家は無料で使用する事が出来る。
独自のAI技術を使い、自身と同程度の実力を持つ格闘家を紹介してくれ、対戦場所の提供まで行ってくれる。
男性側から対戦相手を選ぶ事は出来ないが、女性側から相手を指名するシステムがある事や、
男女格闘戦となった場合、女性側に対戦条件を決める権限があるため、やや女性優位の設計になっている。
運営主は、「タナトス」と呼ばれる女子プロレス団体。
